Overview

** Please Note: This is a Hitachi Vantara course. Merit Career Development is an authorized training provider for Hitachi Vantara. ** This course provides an in-depth knowledge on specifications, operations, and troubleshooting of the Hitachi In-System replication software bundle. The course also covers how to manage replication with Command Control Interface (CCI) software, Ops Center Administrator and Ops Center Protector.

Comprehensive hands-on practice is included to build necessary skills to configure several in-system replication scenarios using RAID Manager CCI, RAIDCOM commands, Ops Center Administrator and Ops Center Protector.

This course also prepares you for the Hitachi Vantara Qualified Professional - In-system replication management (HQT-6713) qualification test.

When you complete this course, you should be able to:
  • Describe the key features and internal operations of Hitachi ShadowImage Replication
  • Describe the key features and internal operations of Hitachi Thin Image
  • Use Hitachi Ops Center Administrator, Protector and Command Control Interface (CCI), and optionally, REST API for ShadowImage and pair operations
  • Use Hitachi Ops Center Administrator, Protector and Command Control Interface (CCI) and REST API for ThinImage snapshot pair operations.
