David Hisey

David Hisey is responsible for the application, web and IT aspects of Merit Systems LLC.

Here at Merit, Dave has been responsible for the design and implementation of several applications including a payroll and invoicing application and a learning management system. Dave has also worked on several of the websites Merit Systems has created for our clients, as well as our own.

Prior to joining Merit, Dave spent 3 years as a developer and installer for a software company offering remittance systems for banks and utility companies in the United States and Canada. Throughout his professional career, Dave has also designed test plans for software packages, programmed Cisco and ATI switches, and developed and implemented project plans.

Dave recently finished his Masters Degree in Software Engineering at Penn State University. He earned his undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Shippensburg University. An avid runner, Dave competes in several road races a year and has started participating in triathlons.
